Deputies said 26-year-old Richard Posey of Norman and 25-year-old Jonathan Marr of Oklahoma City were arrested after they engaged in communication for sex with an undercover deputy posing to be a minor child.

According to the news release, Posey, a Mississippi resident working in Norman as a contract electrician, was arrested after he drove from Norman to Yukon with intentions of meeting a 14-year-old girl for sex.

Deputies said the online dialogue with Posey started at 10:50 a.m. Thursday morning, and within three hours, he was arrested. The news release states Posey texted a picture of a package of condoms to the undercover deputy before he arrived.

"We were surprised at how fast Posey escalated his conversation from introducing himself to filthy sexual talk all-the-while knowing the girl was only fourteen years of age,” said Randall Edwards, Canadian County Sheriff. “I wouldn't be a bit surprised to discover real victims in his history."

Investigators said they recovered five packages of synthetic marijuana, also known as “Spice,” after Posey said he was bringing drugs for the meeting. The news release states Posey admitted that age didn't matter to him, and that he liked to spice things up a bit by using illegal narcotics before sex.

Posey was booked in the Canadian County Jail on charges of Soliciting Sex from a Minor, Computer Crimes Act, Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS), Intent to Provide CDS to a Minor Under the Age of Eighteen, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. His bond was set at $96,000.

According to the news release, Marr, a British National living in Oklahoma City, was arrested after he pursued a sexual relationship with an undercover deputy posing to be a 15-year-old Yukon girl.

Investigators said, after a three-day undercover operation, they learned from Marr that he would be in an early childhood development class at OSU-OKC Thursday night. Deputies said Marr was arrested on campus soon after the Sheriff's Office learned he was enrolled in classes that would put him in direct supervision of children.

"When I learned where Marr would be Thursday night, I told my deputies to go pick him up,” said Edwards. “I fear there may already be underage innocent victims."

Marr admitted to investigators that he understood the girl was underage, but said he became aroused by the thought of having sex with her and pursued the relationship anyway.

Marr was book in the Canadian County jail on two counts of Soliciting Sex with a Minor. His bond was set at $100,000.
