Partly Cloudy; Mild And Humid Morning In Oklahoma

Posted: Updated:
OKLAHOMA CITY -

It's mild and humid this Wednesday morning with partly cloudy skies and southerly winds about 10 mph.

Later today you can expect a hot and humid afternoon with highs about 90 degrees. Partly cloudy skies stay with us and there are less-than-20-percent chances for an isolated shower or thunderstorm in the state.

Winds stay southerly 5-15mph for most of the day. Allergies will be a problem as the ragweed season has come in and is a factor today.

The ozone is also moderate meaning those with allergies and breathing issues may have more problems than usual.

Tonight and beyond, it will be warm and humid with overnight lows near 70 degrees. Thursday through the weekend, it will be hot with increased rain chances.

The former Hurricane Odile is now a tropical storm and remnants of this storm will funnel tropical moisture into Oklahoma and surrounding areas over the weekend.

If this happens, parts of our state could see excessive rainfall over the weekend and maybe on Monday as well. We are watching this very close.
