Oklahoma City police responded to the report of a possible attempted abduction at an elementary school Tuesday morning. But it turns out, the students knew the suspect, and there was never a threat.

It happened at Edwards Elementary School, located at 1123 N.E. Grand.

Police originally said a student told school authorities that a man tried to get her to get in his car. After investigating the incident, police confirmed that the students involved knew the man in the car, and there was never a threat to them.

The school is not under a lock-down.
