OKLAHOMA CITY -

The News 9 team is excited to once again be a part of the Oklahoma State Fair!

We will be out at the fairgrounds every day from September 11-22 under the big red tent just inside gate one.

Visit the booth between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. for a chance to meet some of your favorite News 9 anchors, reporters, meteorologists and storm trackers. You are also encouraged to join us in the fight against childhood hunger by donating to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma's Food For Kids program.

One in four children in Oklahoma is chronically hungry, and just $1 can provide five meals to those in need. Remember no donation is too small.

With your donation, you can place it in the box for which News 9 anchor you would like to see kiss a pig! That's right, when you visit the booth, drop your donation into the anchor boxes to cast your vote on who you want to see pucker up!

All visitors at the News 9 booth 18 years of age or younger can pick up a News 9 weather tip bookmark and play News 9 Plink-O to win great free prizes. Also, adults who donate $5 or more to the Food for Kids initiative can play Plink-O for their own News 9 gear, plus enter the Grill Giveaway Contest for a chance to win a Broil King Outdoor Grill from Galaxy Home Recreation (Value: $999.00). All proceeds benefit the Food for Kids Program.

We are so excited to also have NCIS: New Orleans swag for those who visit the booth. Pick up your NCIS tote bag and mardi-gras style beads while they last. Don't miss the NCIS: New Orleans premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, only on CBS!

Also in the News 9 booth, be sure to stop by and visit the Oklahoma City Community College booth. Learn more about the great classes and degree programs offered right down the road at OCCC.

There's plenty to do out at the fair, so bring the family and friends and enjoy the rides, exhibits, sights, sounds and tastes of the 2014 Oklahoma State Fair. See ya there!
