Authorities continue to investigate after a man's body was found Tuesday in rural Seminole County.

The body of 24-year-old Justin T. Hinkle was found by his family Tuesday morning in a rural area near Konawa, Okla.

Initially, investigators believed the condition of the body was consistent with homicide, but the OSBI said Wednesday, after closer inspection, Hinkle is “likely not a victim of homicide.”

The OSBI said Hinkle's body lay in a rural area on County Road 3500, off of Highway 39, for nearly a week before his body was found by family members.

Investigators said the medical examiner's office has not determined a cause or manner of death, but the OSBI is now considering it a suspicious death.
