One Arrested After Man Found Shot To Death In Moore

MOORE, Oklahoma -

Police have arrested one person in connection to the shooting death of a man early Wednesday morning in Moore.

According to Moore police, at about 12:14 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a disturbance in the 900 block of Astoria Drive. When officers arrived, they found the victim, 21-year-old Eric James Monroe of Oklahoma City, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers said they detained several people at the scene, and ultimately arrested 24-year-old Richard Clay Scudder.

Scudder has been booked into the Cleveland County Jail on one count of first-degree murder.

Police said the fatal shooting is still under investigation. Charges will be presented to the Cleveland County District Attorney's office upon completion of the investigation.
