This weekend Oklahoma City utility services are giving residents the chance to drop off a load of bulk at a local landfill for free.

Free Landfill Day falls on Saturday, Sept. 13 at the following landfills:

  • East Oak Landfill – 3201 Mosley Rd.
  • Oklahoma City Landfill – 7001 S. Bryant
  • Oklahoma Landfill – 7600 SW 15
  • Northeast Landfill – 2601 N. Midwest Blvd., Spencer, Okla. (construction and demotion materials only)

Each residential household can leave one load at the landfill using a passenger vehicle or truck. No commercial waste haulers.

Anyone taking advantage of Free Landfill Day this weekend must bring a current original Oklahoma City utility bill for proof of residency.
