Valley Brook police said a driver accused of running over a 9-year-old boy, killing him, had marijuana in her system at the time of the crash.

According to Police Chief Michael Stamp, a blood test shows that the driver had marijuana in her system when she ran over the boy with her pickup truck.

Chief Stamp said he will turn over the results to the Oklahoma County District Attorney on Wednesday. Authorities said they will run more tests to learn how long before the accident had the driver smoked the drug.

The District Attorney will decide on charges against the driver. Police have not released her identity at this time.
