OKC Police Seek Suspect In iPhone Return Fraud

A woman received more than $700 for returning what appeared to be a new and sealed iPhone, but employees later discovered there were only playing cards inside the box, according to Oklahoma City police.

A woman received more than $700 for returning what appeared to be a new and sealed iPhone, but employees later discovered there were only playing cards inside the box, according to Oklahoma City police.

Officers said on Sunday, the suspect walked into a Wal-Mart store located near Memorial and Penn. to return the "iPhone." She was given $771.61 for her refund. However, when employees later opened the box, they found two decks of playing cards inside.

Police released surveillance photos of the suspect on Wednesday. If you recognize this woman or have any information, call Crime Stoppers at (405)-235-7300.
