A small, single-engine plane has made a forced landing in a Sapulpa-area field Tuesday morning. The plane set down about a quarter-mile from a road in the area of 106th and 177th West Avenue.

The plane, a Cessna with tail number 4726L, is owned by Riverside Flight School. Captain George Brown said the aircraft was reportedly experiencing engine trouble.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol was notified of the forced landing just after 9 a.m. The plane was able to land in a cattle pasture.

Brown said no injuries were reported.

"The FAA has been contacted and will be responding to investigate the incident," Brown said in a news bulletin.
