Crews Respond To Officer-Involved Accident In MWC

Emergency crews responded to an injury accident involving a police officer in Midwest City, Friday evening.

It happened near S.E. 29th Street and S. Douglas Boulevard.

According to officials, a Midwest City police officer was transporting a prisoner at the time of the accident.

News 9 Pilot Jim Gardner said the officer had no injuries, but the suspect was transported to a local hospital and the injuries are unknown.
