Rogers County Woman Sentenced For Locking 4-Year-Old In Cage

A judge sentenced a Rogers County woman to 25 years on counts of child abuse by injury and child neglect.

Suzanne Satterfield entered a blind plea back in May. She received three years suspended sentence on each count. Her sentences will run concurrently.

Prosecutors said Satterfield and her husband, Johnathan Lee, locked her four-year-old son in a wire dog cage. He said he was disciplining his stepson because of behavior issues.

They said Satterfield watched her children be abused but said she was too pregnant and too tired to deal with it.
