Semi Truck Rollover Reported Near Shawnee

Emergency crews responded to the scene of a rollover accident involving a semi near Shawnee, Tuesday evening.

It happened near Garret’s Lake Rd. and Kickapoo Rd. in Pottawatomie County. Initial scanner reports indicated that the driver of the semi was still trapped inside the wreckage.

Once on scene authorities met with the driver, who was checked out and released. No other vehicles were involved in the crash. 

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
