A man, who was convicted of murder in the high-profile pharmacy shooting involving Jerome Ersland, is in trouble with the law again.

According to authorities, on June 27, Del City officers responded to the report of a burglary at the Woodcrest Apartments, located in the 200 block of Tyane Blvd.

The victim, who was 4-month pregnant at the time, told police that the suspect, later identified as 19-year-old Jevontai Ingram, kicked in her front door and struck her with his knee in her abdomen.

After she was attacked, the victim said she and her cousin ran out of the apartment. When police arrived, they said they noticed that some comet bleach had been dumped onto a pile of clothing in the closet.

Ingram has been arrested and charged with a felony count of assault and battery, two counts of first degree burglary, domestic abuse by strangulation, a misdemeanor count of domestic abuse committed against a pregnant woman, a felony count of malicious injury and destruction of property, and, first degree robbery.

Ingram was one of two masked robbers who held up pharmacist Jerome Ersland at Reliable Pharmacy. Ersland and Ingram were both convicted of murder, after Ersland repeatedly shot Antwun Parker during the botched robbery. Ersland is serving a life sentence.

Ingram spent less than four years in custody after pleading guilty to murder for his role in the death of his accomplice.

Ingram was 14 when Pharmacist Jerome Ersland shot and killed Ingram's accomplice during an attempted robbery. Ingram's testimony about what happened helped get him a deal with the state.
