The US Marshal’s service is still searching for a man facing charges for numerous felony child sex crimes.

News 9 first told you about this situation when an arrest warrant was issued for Gregory Saul six months ago, and he still remains at large.

Saul has been out on a $75,000 bond ever since he was arrested on child sex crimes charges, even though he faces 18 felony counts. He was supposed to follow certain conditions, like staying in town, attending court and not contacting any of the witnesses or victim in this case.

The DA is frustrated that Saul has managed to elude authorities all this time.

“I have every confidence that the US Marshal’s service is out doing what they can to track him down,” said Greg Mashburn, the DA representing Cleveland County.

“We get notifications from them and stay in contact with them about their efforts. So you know we just have to bide our time and wait until he can get apprehended, and we can get him back into court.”

Saul is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl he met at Moore Christian Schools while he was a teacher and she was a student. Court documents revealed the two had sex in his truck, at a business,

in the classroom and at a southwest OKC home he listed as his last known address.

Court documents state Saul had even given the young girl a cell phone and told his young victim that he wanted to marry her and run away to Mexico together.

When asked if he is concerned that Saul may have skipped the country and is hiding out in Mexico, the DA had this to say:

“Certainly, [I am concerned]. The fact that he had mentioned a foreign country as part of the case concerns us with, is that someplace that he had in mind where he was going to end up?”

Mashburn says he has shared all of this information with the Marshalls service in hopes that it will help them locate him.

A judge has upped the bond to $250,000 in hopes in helps keep Saul locked up once he is caught. And Mashburn says anyone found aiding and abetting Saul could face charges as well.
