Warr Acres Police On The Lookout For Missing Truck Driver

Warr Acres Police are on the lookout for a Colorado man who went missing from a local grocery store, early Tuesday morning.

Police say 55-year-old Gary Wayne Near is a truck driver and had stopped at a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market around 2:30 a.m. to deliver a shipment when he accidentally locked his keys inside of the cab of the truck. Police say Near also left his cell phone and other personal items inside of the semi.

Near was last seen walking towards the post office while store employees made arrangements to unlock the semi. He is described as being 6” 2” tall and weighs approximately 240 lbs. He was wearing a light colored, short-sleeve button-up shirt and khaki shorts.

Near, who is from Fort Collins, Colo., has not been seen or heard from since.
