Hot, Humid Across Oklahoma On Tuesday

Posted: Updated:

A hot and steamy day is ahead for the entire state.

Morning temperatures are in the upper 70s at sunrise already with a dew point of 72 degrees. That means the “Muggy-O-Meter” will be in the miserable range especially late Tuesday afternoon, with almost no winds to help cool us off.

The afternoon high will be 96 degrees in Oklahoma City with near 100 degrees. The heat index for Oklahoma City will be 106. So practice your summer time survival tips and you should be fine.

The rest of the week will be a pressure cooker with 100 degrees expected by the weekend.

Early to mid-next week we will see a cold front move into the region again, and we could see some mid 80s for the highs.
