Charges have been filed against the suspect in a hit-and-run that killed famous inventor Jack McClung in Oklahoma City.
According to police, McClung, 79, was walking back home from getting groceries when he was hit by a car, and killed. McClung made millions off "Blue Stuff" selling it online and through infomercials.
Police arrested 21-year-old Wilfredo L. Gomez in the case. On Friday, Gomez has been charged with first-degree manslaughter, leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, causing an accident while driving a vehicle without a valid driver’s license, and failure to provide proof of security verification to officer.
It was a popular joint pain relief ointment made from emu oil that brought Jack McClung's business more than $83 million in 2002. McClung traveled the world promoting his magic product that claimed to heal areas of discomfort.
