The Amber Alert for a missing Kingfisher County infant has been canceled.

Deputy Jonathan Riedlinger of the Kingfisher County Sheriff's Office tells News 9 that 5-month-old Olivia Smith was found safe at about 1:40 a.m. Friday in Seminole, Texas. That's in far west Texas between Lubbock and Midland.

Smith was abducted about 12:15 p.m. Thursday afternoon from a home located at 30773 N. 2976 Road in Cashion. The two women, detectives believe took the baby, are 47-year-old Cindy Findley and 43-year-old Jennifer Skousen.

We have conflicting reports on the suspects' status. We've been told by Oklahoma Department of Public Safety's Amber Alert Coordinator that the suspects have been apprehended.

"The suspects have been apprehended and child is safe and in protective custody", according to an e-mail alert from Oklahoma Amber Alert Coordinator Gene Thaxton.

However, the sheriff's office for the Seminole, Texas, area is saying no suspects have been arrested.

Deputy Riedlinger said he did not have any additional information on how the child was found.

According to family members, both of the child’s parents are in jail in Texas. They said Findley is the great-aunt of Smith, and the mom told her to take the child from the grandparents. They also said Findley does not suffer from a psychiatric condition.

Deputies couldn't tell us if and when the baby would be reunited with her grandparents, nor how they were tipped off about her location in Seminole, Texas.

We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
