The Medical Examiner’s Office and Edmond police have identified a man and a woman who were found dead inside an Edmond home Monday morning.

According to police, officers did a welfare check around 8:30 a.m. at the home, located on the 5500 block of Fairway Drive, in the gated Highlands neighborhood. One of the two people who lived there had missed an appointment, which was unusual.

Inside the home, police said they found the bodies of a man and a woman, later identified as 55-year-old Kenneth Frame Jr. and 64-year-old Pamela Frame.

Friends and coworkers, who knew the couple, said they are shocked by what happened. They said Ken and Pam loved each other very much.

Shawn Clines knew the couple pretty well. He married them on January 22nd.

“Between all of us, our friends, and our family, we think it’s just a big tragedy,” said Clines. “Regardless of what the situation is, they are two absolutely wonderful people, who are absolutely loved in this community and did a lot for a lot of people here.”

The two were found dead in their Edmond home on Monday, in what police are calling a murder-suicide.

Clines said a friend grew concerned when Ken failed to show up for a golf game, but no one expected this.

“Because anyone you will talk to just doesn’t quite understand,” said Clines. “That two people, who really care for each other as much as they do, that something like this would happen.”

The couple owned STA Spray Foam Company in Mustang. They attended several networking events with both the Oklahoma City Chamber and BNI, and were often seen working out together at the gym.

“Well obviously it’s a tragedy, very unexpected,” said Austin Lawrence, a friend who has known the couple for 3 years. “Ken was a good friend, I worked with him - also we met at the gym.”

Lawrence was also at the couple’s wedding ceremony this past January. He said the Frames had been married and divorced before, to each other.

“Yeah, they had been together a long, long time,” said Clines. “They just wanted to get back together again and renew their vows and that’s what I did for them.”

The medical examiner has not release the exact cause of death.
