WATTS, Oklahoma -

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been asked to help investigate the death of a man in Watts.

The OSBI said Monday that the Adair County Sheriff's Office requested assistance after the body of 71-year-old Wayne Lee Winterholm was found dead inside his home. The OSBI says Winterholm's body was found by a neighbor shortly before noon Sunday.

The agency says trauma to the man's body leads agents to suspect homicide.
