Woman bound over for trial in '92 Creek Co. deaths

Posted: Updated:

SAPULPA, Okla. (AP) - A judge says there's sufficient evidence for a 67-year-old Bristow woman to stand trial on murder charges in the 1992 killings of three people.

Beverly Noe was bound over for trial Monday on three counts of first-degree murder. Prosecutors charged Noe earlier this year in the deaths of her 23-year-old former daughter-in-law Wendy Camp; Camp's 6-year-old daughter, Cynthia Britto; and Camp's sister-in-law, Lisa Kregear.

Investigators found the bodies last year, buried in a hole dug for a septic tank.

Noe has pleaded not guilty and has said she left the three at a Wal-Mart in Chandler.

KTUL reports (http://bit.ly/1noIL3t ) that Noe is due in court July 30 for arraignment on the charges.

Noe's brother, Grover Prewitt, is charged as an accessory after the fact to first-degree murder in the case.
