Authorities are investigating a fire that damaged a home in Oklahoma City, early Monday morning.

According to the fire department, just after 4 a.m., crews responded to a fire at a house in the 2400 block of 2nd Street, which is near Reno and May.

No one was home at the time. Firefighters were able to put out the fire. Officials say the home was heavily damaged.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
