Tulsa Police: Serial Rape Suspect Desmond Campbell Dies

Tulsa Police say serial rape suspect Desmond Campbell is dead.

Campbell had been in intensive care since being badly hurt in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 44 early on the morning of Sunday, June 29, 2014.

Documents released Monday detailed the evidence Tulsa Police had against Campbell.

The documents also contained details of the attacks which the victims gave police.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that Campbell wrecked a car just before 6 a.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2014. Troopers said he hit a large sign post near Sheridan and listed the possible cause as sleepiness. The wreck happened just minutes after the last sexual assault police have attributed to Campbell.
