Hefner Road is back open Tuesday morning near the Broadway Extension after a vehicle crashed and caught fire.

According to Oklahoma City police, just after 2 a.m., a car hit a tree in the 200 block of W. Hefner Road, and then burst into flames.

One person was sent to the hospital in an unknown condition.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
