2 Oklahoma Co. Inmates Charged With Assaulting Detention Officer

Charges have been filed against two Oklahoma County Jail inmates who are accused of attacking a detention officer.

According to an affidavit, at about 5:15 p.m. on June 14, two inmates, 29-year-old Steven Triplet and 25-year-old Keenan Leake, punched a detention officer in the face and head while he was in the performance of his official duties.

On Monday, July 7, both Triplet and Leake have been charged with one count of assault and battery on a peace officer.
