Investigators learned that a domestic-related altercation had taken place at a home in the 1200 block of N.W. 9th Street.  Police say the victim's girlfriend, 39-year-old Jamie Whiteeagle, and another man illegally entered the victim's home. Once inside, the victim was assaulted.

According to police, the victim was cut in the chest but still ran after his attacker. Officers found him in the street, a block away in a pool of blood, wearing his pajamas.
