It's hot and humid on Monday with highs in the mid and upper 90s, but the heat index will range from 100° to 105° Monday afternoon.

Winds will be strong out of the south at 20 to 30 mph. A few scattered showers and storms are possible in NW OK through the first half of the day. Much better rain chances late Monday evening into the overnight hours.

A cold front will swing in from the north sparking thunderstorms across northern and northwestern OK. Storms could be strong to severe with hail up to the size of golf balls in some of the stronger storms.

Also, strong winds to 70 mph, and flash flooding will be a concern. The cold front will bring some relief from the extreme heat both Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the mid 80s, and rain chances continue both days.
