JOHNSTON COUNTY, Oklahoma -

A child was killed Thursday when a vehicle struck her on State Highway 48 in Johnston County.

It happened at 11:55 a.m. Thursday within the city limits of Coleman, Okla.

OHP said a 2009 Chevrolet, driven by 67-year-old Ruth McGraw of Norman, was heading southbound on State Highway 48 when it struck 6-year-old Terrin Barrett of Coleman. The vehicle had one passenger, a 12-year-old girl of Allen, Okla.
