OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City police arrested a cigarette store clerk who is accused of sexually assaulting a customer early Tuesday morning.

According to police, officers responded to the incident just after 4 a.m. at the Britton Discount Cigarette, located in the 1300 block of W. Britton Road.

A woman told police she came to the store to buy cigarette, and went through the drive-thru on the west side of the business. The clerk, 21-year-old Rajashekar Bhattu, reportedly asked the victim to meet him at the back of the business, so he could give her the receipt.

Once there, the victim said she stepped out of her vehicle. That's when Bhattu pulled down her shirt and sexually assaulted her, according to police.

The victim told police she was able to push Bhattu away. She got back into her car, drove back home, and called 911.

Bhattu was then arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of sexual battery.
