The parent of a Yale High School student accused of assaulting a principal in his office in 2012 was found guilty.

Donald Stobaugh was found guilty with assault and battery on a school official Tuesday afternoon.

According to court documents, Donald Lee Stobaugh, 46, of Jennings went to talk with Principal Bobby Rose about a vandalism incident that happened on school property. His son's truck was vandalized.

Stobaugh's sentencing date is scheduled for early July.
