Yale High School Parent Found Guilty Of Assaulting Principal

The parent of a Yale High School student accused of assaulting a principal in his office in 2012 was found guilty.

Donald Stobaugh was found guilty with assault and battery on a school official Tuesday afternoon.

According to court documents, Donald Lee Stobaugh, 46, of Jennings went to talk with Principal Bobby Rose about a vandalism incident that happened on school property. His son's truck was vandalized.

Rose told detectives Stobaugh pushed him and slammed his shoulders against the wall when he refused to talk with him. Rose told detectives Stobaugh pushed him and slammed his shoulders against the wall when he refused to talk with him.

Stobaugh's sentencing date is scheduled for early July.
