CHICKASHA, Oklahoma -

Chickasha police need your help finding two "smash and grab" suspects.

The bold thieves broke into the Medicine Shoppe Drug Store early Thursday morning, and the heist played out as security cameras roll.

The owner of the pharmacy said if the suspects had waited about 20 more minutes, she could have been inside when a massive rock was thrown through her front glass door.

Chickasha police hope surveillance footage will help catch them.

"They came around the corner, and you can see them entering this bay," Pat Helm said.

You can see the two men in the pharmacy's surveillance video looking for a quick grab, but they were apparently spooked by the alarm system.

"They just all of a sudden ran out, come out this door, and you can see them running all the way down 4th Street," Helm said.

The two were inside and out in less than 30 seconds.

"This was the rock we found," said Helm. "It appeared over here when I got here."

Pat Helm, owner of Medicine Shoppe Drug Store in Chickasha, got a phone call from her alarm company around 7 a.m. Thursday.

"So I came down here, there wasn't a policeman here at the time, so I waited outside," said Helm. "The whole front door was shattered. No glass left in it at all."

Chickasha police are calling the pharmacy break-in a random act.

"When our officers got the call, they were right there in the area," said Chickasha Police Chief, Eddie Adamson.

Chief Adamson said it looks as if one of the men has a white handkerchief over his face. The other suspect has on a light colored hoodie that covered most of his face.

Both also appear to be wearing gloves.

"We know they're out there," said Chief Adamson. "We just need to get them."

"It's kind of frightening you now, to have someone in your residence basically," said Helm. "But I hope they really get them and punish them."

Helm has owned her pharmacy for more than 30 years, and she says thieves are typically looking for prescription narcotics. But, she says these two men didn't get away with anything.
