BIXBY, Oklahoma -

Bixby Police arrested a man they say molested a girl in a movie theatre Wednesday night.

Bixby Police say a 14-year-old girl told officers Billy Yancy, 72, touched her inappropriately while they were in a movie theatre at about 8 p.m. The theatre is located in the 10300 block of South Memorial.

Officers said the teen told them Yancy touched her hand and began massaging it. He then touched her thigh, before moving to her private area. She said she got up and left the theatre, called her mom and went home.

Bixby Police said Yancy contacted the teen's mom to say he was sorry. He was arrested at his home.

Bixby Public Schools confirms Yancy is a school bus driver for the district. A spokesperson says the district will conduct its own investigation.

Officers say Yancy called his son while in the booking area of the Tulsa County jail. During that conversation officers heard him say, "I was touching her leg. She didn't say nothing. She got up and took off. I was touching her inappropriately, I guess. It was a little bit lower than that, I guess."

Yancy is being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond. Jail records show he has a June 26, 2014 court appearance.
