Some Thunderstorms May Be Severe On Thursday In Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY -- We will keep a 40 percent chance for showers and thunderstorms in the forecast all day.

Later on Thursday, it will be partly cloudy with an afternoon high near 90 degrees. Clouds will keep the UV index at an eight, but still high enough to get a quick sunburn.

Winds pick up on Thursday, southerly 15-25mph. Some of the thunderstorms that develop on Thursday may reach severe limits, so stay weather aware.
