The heat, humidity, and wind will crank up again on Monday.

Look for afternoon highs in the lower and mid 90s, but with all the Gulf moisture in the air, the heat index will range from 95 to 100 degrees. South winds will also ramp Monday afternoon at 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph in western Oklahoma.

Stay hydrated and take plenty of breaks if you will be outdoors for extended periods of time.

A dryline is positioned over the western Texas panhandle and could be the focal point for thunderstorms Monday afternoon. If storms develop, they could make it into western Oklahoma this evening.

Storm chances range from 20 to 30 percent. Any storms that develops out west could produce severe wind and large hail, so we will be watching them closely and keep you advised. However, t-storms are expected to very isolated in nature.

Lows tonight will only drop into the mid 70s Monday night, with another hot and humid day in store Tuesday. Rain chances are going up on Thursday and should bring some relief from the heat.
