Road crews had their hands full late Sunday night and early Monday morning after a couple of accidents closed some of the metro's main thoroughfares.
All lanes were blocked temporarily after a fuel spill on Interstate 35, near the NE 10th St. exit.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) does not know what caused the spill, but they have advised drivers to be careful driving in that area because it may still be slick due to the rain.
A jackknifed semi shutdown traffic near I-40 and I-44 for a spell. It took road crews nearly two hours to remove the wreckage and get traffic flowing again.
The cause of that wreck has not been determined. No injuries were reported with either accident.
