OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police are investigating a possible homicide after they found the body of a naked man in northwest Oklahoma City on Sunday morning. Neighbors think the body was dumped in an alley overnight.

"It's very scary. I think this world is crazy myself, not the world, but the people," said Betty Robinson, who has lived on NW 11th St. for years.

Robinson says it was crazy to see a dead body on her way to get breakfast.

"Told my daughter I wanted to go get some doughnuts and we went down this street here and we made a left and saw all the police cars and the crime unit and we saw that dead body laying right over here and he was completely naked, his whole backside just out there," she said.

It was near NW 11th and Pennsylvania where she said a man's body was lying face down in the alley behind popular burger place, Nic's Grill.

"That's very nerve wracking, especially when you have grandchildren on this street."

Oklahoma City Police got the call after 9:30 a.m. Sunday. They interviewed several people in the area as investigators swarmed the scene. Police say there was trauma to the man's body that was consistent with a homicide. It leaves dozens of questions for stunned residents nearby.

"I'd like to know what happened to the guy and possibly, I hope that the police catches whoever did it and I hope and pray that they punish him," Robinson said.

Police have not identified the body, only saying it was a white male with dark hair. There are no suspects at this time. If you have any information, you're asked to call police.
