The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch in effect until 3 a.m. for several counties in western Oklahoma including Alfalfa, Beckham, Blaine, Custer, Dewey, Ellis, Garfield, Grant, Harper, Kay, Kingfisher, Major, Noble, Roger Mills, Washita, Woods, and Woodward.

News 9 Meteorologist Lacey Swope said storms could produce tennis ball size hail and wind gust of 85 mph.

Flash flood warnings are also in effect for Alfalfa, Beckham, Blaine, Caddo, Canadian, Custer, Dewey, Ellis, Garfield, Grady, Grant, Harper, Hughes, Kay, Kingfisher, Lincoln, Logan, Major, McClain, Noble, Oklahoma, Payne, Pottawatomie, Roger Mills, Seminole, Washita, Woods, and Woodward.
