Some SW Oklahoma City residents are allowed to return home Friday evening after a suspicious device scare. It happened near the area of SW 49th and Olie.

The Oklahoma City Police Department Impact Team served a narcotics warrant around 1:00 p.m.

Police arrested Victor Castillo, 32. Police say Castillo had 70 pounds of marijuana and 300 grams of methamphetamine on a traffic stop yesterday. Officers were following up with the search warrant.

Shortly after serving that warrant, they noticed a suspicious device and called in a bomb squad to investigate.

Nearby residents were evacuated as a safety precaution.

Authorities have not said what the device was, but the all-clear was given at 4:30 p.m. They did not find any explosives.
