Oklahoma Man Arrested, Accused Of Rape In Seattle

An Oklahoma man is arrested for a brutal and violent crime left a woman disfigured.

News 9 has learned that suspect is still here at the Oklahoma Co Jail, but he will soon be extradited to Washington State. The man is accused of raping and brutally assaulting a 58-year-old woman. The photo of the victim is so graphic News 9 has chosen not to show it.

According to the King County prosecutor in Washington State, it was around 11:30 p.m. back in early March when the 58-year-old woman was walking to a bus stop.

Police say Christopher Anthony Brown, 25, came up to her offered her money for sex. When she refused, that's when he strangled her, dragged her to an area, beat and raped her. Police say the woman suffered multiple fractures in her face and jaw and several broken teeth.

It was good detective work that led police to Brown. DNA evidence collected from the victim's body matched up to Brown. He has an extensive arrest record in Oklahoma including burglary and assault and battery.
