Woman Hit By Car On Northwest Expressway

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Emergency crews responded to the scene of an auto-pedestrian accident on the Northwest Expressway near Meridian Avenue, Thursday morning.

The Northwest Expressway eastbound lanes were closed for a while at N. Meridian Ave. As of 7:30 p.m. crews had one lane open and are expected to have the roadway completely open very soon.

Officers on the scene tell News 9 the victim who was hit is in serious condition.

Investigators are still trying to figure out how the accident occurred.
