We are learning new details after last week's brutal murder of a Midwest City woman. Waynetta Roberson, 39 was stabbed to death outside an apartment complex last Wednesday.

Roberson's ex-boyfriend, Reginald Lancaster is accused in the killing.

Court documents filed Tuesday reveal Roberson and her friend were stabbed multiple times, with what doctors believe to be an icepick. Police are not saying what the murder weapon was, but the search warrant notes that police did find a screwdriver in Lancaster's car and booked it as evidence. Lancaster was later booked into the Oklahoma County jail.

"He's been violent with my sister before plenty of times," said Michelle Adkins, Roberson's sister. "There are plenty of people that know about him being violent."

Adkins is still reeling from her older sister's death. She says Waynetta had done everything she could to break free from her abusive relationship with Lancaster.

"He's hit her in the head with a gun before and she had to get stitches," said Adkins.

Adkins says she got a call last Wednesday about the deadly stabbing and rushed up to Oklahoma City as soon as she could, but there was little she could do.

When police responded to the Chestnut Square Apartments, Roberson was already laying unresponsive by the dumpster and died on her way to the hospital.

A friend who was with her was also stabbed. We are not released her name to protect her identity since there are concerns about retaliation.

"I seen well over 10 stabbing's in her back," said Adkins about her sister's friend. "I can only imagine how many times he stabbed my sister."

Adkins says her sister was scared of Lancaster and claimed he had threatened to kill her and her family in the past, but she confirmed her sister never called police because she was scared to report him.

"I believe she loved him at some point," said Adkins. "Because you've got to love a person to let them fight on you and not call police for something."

Adkins says her sister finally did break free and even married another man and had left the state to start a new life. She was only in Midwest City to pick up a final few things when she was attacked.

"I don't know how he knew she was here, if he was stalking her that bad or if he knew someone was at the apartments," said Adkins. "She had even changed the locks on the apartments."

Adkins says her sister did call police to report her TV had been stolen and that she suspected Lancaster was behind it.

Lancaster is being held at the Oklahoma County jail without bond. He is yet to be officially charged, but is accused of first degree murder and assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
