NORMAN, Oklahoma -

As part of its ongoing Raise the Steaks fundraising program, Logan's Roadhouse will host a community fundraising event Tuesday to support a local nonprofit, the Patriot Guard Riders.

From 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on June 3, two Logan's Roadhouse locations will donate 15 percent of the participant's check amounts before tax to the Patriot Guard Riders. If 50 or more participating guests visit either restaurant on the designated night, 20 percent will be donated.

The two fundraising locations are the Logan's Roadhouses in Norman, 1250 24th Avenue Northwest, and Owasso, 9531 North Owasso Expressway.

To participate, guests need to show an event ticket to their server. To request a ticket, contact Jessica Bradley at JessicaB@logansroadhouse.com.

The Patriot Guard Riders, a 501(c) non-profit organization, honors the service and sacrifice of fallen veterans, police officers and firefighters by attending their funerals upon the family's request and providing a motorcade en route to burial sites. The group also forms an honor guard for military members and fills the ranks for homeless and indigent veterans at their services.

The event proceeds will help the Patriot Guard Riders fund future missions, purchase flags and plaques for military families and raise awareness of its mission.

Logan's Roadhouse encourages all nonprofit organizations interested in its Raise the Steaks program to contact their local restaurant. Raise the Steaks events take place Monday through Wednesday, 4 p.m. to close.
