BLANCHARD, Oklahoma -

The bizarre murder of a McClain County mother now has investigators offering a reward for information.

Rachelle Flowers was found dead in April inside her home near Goldsby. Now, investigators have a theory about the possible motive.

The McClain county sheriff's office is waiting for forensic DNA from the OSBI lab. Once that's released investigators believe they will be able to identify suspects.

"It's a weird case. Very weird case," said McClain County Sheriff, Don Hewitt.

At first, investigators thought this was a home break-in, but Sheriff Hewett says there was no forced entry, and deputies can't tell if anything is missing.

"There's nothing disturbed. You know, like pantry open, chest of drawers open. There was no evidence of that," said Hewett.

A tan pickup with doors open caught the eye of a McClain county sheriff's deputy back in April.

The deputy stopped and found 24-year-old Rachelle Flowers' body inside the home along with the strong smell of propane.

"It was kind of odd I believe that whoever committed this crime wanted to try to maybe destroy the evidence, and I believe that's why they tried to ignite the house through the propane," said Hewett.

Sheriff Hewett says Rachelle had only been in Oklahoma for the past two years. She had a Texas driver's license with a Fort Worth address, but her parents live in Meeker.

"The first and foremost thing is we want to bring closure to the family, and anybody that's involved in this we want to bring them to justice," said Hewett.

If you have any information, call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.

OSBI is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction. The family of Rachelle's husband is also offering an additional reward of $1,000.
