A football recruit for Oklahoma State University has been arrested on a charge of shooting with intent to kill.

Devon Thomas and Eduard Smith are both in the Tulsa County jail Friday morning.

A police report shows Thomas allegedly robbed a man on East Madison in Broken Arrow on Tuesday and then shot at him as he drove away.

Police say Smith was also there at the time of the robbery and took the victim's shoes, money and drugs.

Thomas signed with the OSU Cowboys in February and is enrolled for classes this spring. He chose the Cowboys over offers from Clemson, Houston, Oklahoma and West Virginia.
