MOORE, Oklahoma -

Thieves targeted neighbors along the same Moore street, making off with more than $10,000 in stolen vehicle tires and rims.

It happened on Lonnie Lane near SW 19th and Santa Fe early Wednesday, leaving victims stranded when the sun rose.

"Police officers at my door, saying they had a spree of robberies and did I know my truck was on blocks and I said, ‘No,'" said Keith Hobbs.

Hobbs found his truck resting on cinder blocks instead of tires when he went outside to look.

"I'm mad, yeah, that's money out of my pocket," said Hobbs. "I couldn't work today because I didn't have tires."

The suspects stole all the tires and rims off at least four trucks, leaving them all propped up on blocks in driveways. Surveillance video from a nearby home shows two people creeping over to Hobb's house in the dark.

Later, the same two people grab landscaping stones from a tree base so they can prop up a truck at another home.

"We were shocked. It's kind of scary now to leave my trucks here," said Briana Hardy, stepdaughter of one of the victims.

Hardy's stepdad found his 2014 Chevy truck sitting on his neighbor's landscaping blocks when he tried to leave for work.

"No dogs in the neighborhood barked. Nobody knew anything until six o'clock this morning," added Hardy.

Moore Police took reports from all the victims and believe all the crimes happened between midnight and 6 a.m.

"I work hard for my money just like everybody else does and we don't need punks coming around our neighborhood…stealing things," said Hobbs.

Police estimate each theft at about $3,000 with tires and rims. If you know anything about the tire thefts, you're asked to call the Moore Crime Stoppers at (405) 793-5160.
