Oklahoma City Police have given the all clear after a suspicious package was found near the Cox Convention Center Tuesday night.
Officers responded to the call at Sheridan and Broadway around 10:15 p.m. as hundreds of fans were leaving the Thunder game.
Police blocked off Sheridan between E.K. Gaylord and Robinson.
As a precaution, the Oklahoma City bomb squad was called in to clear the black duffel bag. They didn't find anything suspicious or alarming.
According to police, a homeless man left his bag near the convention center. He told them it was his bag.
Police say the man actually came back to get it while they were investigating. Officers took him into custody because they say he appeared to be intoxicated.
Police cleared the scene shortly after midnight. They have not said what was inside the bag. The only thing police would tell us is that the contents are exactly what the man described to them.
