EDMOND, Oklahoma -

An Edmond man is booked into the Oklahoma County Jail after police say he tried to stab his roommate.

Police say 25-year-old Justin Meyers tried to stab his roommate after an argument.

Edmond police officers responded to a disturbance call in the 1800 block of Three Stars Road on May 14th.

When officers arrived on scene, they detained four men, who are all roommates for questioning.

One of the men told police he captured the whole incident on his cell phone.

According to the court affidavit, an officer watched the video and said, Meyers could be seen holding two long knives and charging at one of his roommates.

A roommate told police, Meyers had been using prescription medication. He was also angry and upset that his wife had been arrested earlier in the day.

Police recovered four knives at the scene.

Meyers is facing one count of Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

His bond is set at $5,000.
