NORMAN, Oklahoma -

A worker was injured in a construction accident at a Norman church Thursday morning.

According to the Norman Fire Department, emergency crews are responding to the accident at the McFarland Memorial United Methodist Church, located near University and Symmes.

Authorities say the church is getting a new roof.

A construction lift tipped over. According to the Norman Transcript, a worker was pulled out from underneath the equipment. He suffered a broken arm.

No roads are blocked in the area.
