A family is pleading for help in solving the murder of their daughter and her unborn child. They are now offering a $10,000 reward, hoping it will help police catch the killer.

It has been almost a year and a half since Amber Stokke was shot in the driveway of her house. Her family has moved out of the neighborhood, but they still want police to find her killer.

Police had originally responded to what was called in as a car crash, but when officers arrived, they found 22-year-old Amber Dawn Stokke dead inside. She had been shot multiple times.

"That's really scary," said Shawna Boyd, who has just moved into that neighborhood.

Boyd was shocked to hear about the murder and was even more shocked that it is still unsolved.

"I hope that the guy gets caught. I hope he goes to prison forever."

But police say the case has not grown cold.

"We've interviewed a vast number of people in this case, and a lot of interviews and a lot of investigation," said Steve Jagosh with The Village Police Department. "But it has been an active investigation since the homicide occurred."

The Village Police say they have had some new information that has come in on the case. But for now they are not saying what they are, but they have some people identified that may have something to do with the case. However, they say they need more people to come forward.

"If people have just heard in passing any info about this case, we want to know about it," said Jagosh. "We need to know about it."

Police say originally Stokke's car hit the curb, plowed through a yard, and slammed into a fence at the corner of Sunnymeade Pl. and Plymouth Ln., less than a mile away from where Stokke lived with her father and her roommate, who was in the car with her.

All the roommate was able to say was that it was a black male who approached the car they were in and shot Stokke.

If you have information about this case, you are urged to call The Village Police Department's Crime Stoppers line at (405) 751-1234.

Jagosh tells News 9 Stokke's murder is the first murder The Village has had since 2006.
